Hi all. Joey here.
I read an article a long time ago, and it stuck with me. A family-mom and two daughters-had started a
tradition on New Year’s Eve. Their biggest
regret of the year-sin, fault, whatever-would be stated, apologized for,
whatever. Then they’d write it on a
strip of paper and burn it, never to be thought of again.
Of course,
you know, when you apologize for something, you try your dammedest not to
repeat it. But, that was it, a new
start.
Is there
something you’d like to get off your chest?
I’m not saying you have to tell me.
Maybe me. Your sister, boyfriend,
your next door neighbor, maybe? Maybe it’s
small, or maybe it’s so big, you think it’ll make them happy, or hurt them dearly? It might, but…
If it
was me, I’d rather know. People usually
feel better not harboring hidden things.
Just a
thought.
