Afternoon,
Fam…
So,
yesterday, I went to Walmart for Joey for a few things since she’s no longer
able to go with her providers. I’m not
bound by such bullshit, so I just jumped the bus.
Anyway, I
got the vitamins she needed and some chip provisions and went to check out,
which I thought was going to be a chore considering the holiday coming up. Surprisingly, it wasn’t. When I got to my turn, the guy with his fam behind me
helped me put my stuff on the conveyor, and I started looking for my debit
card. Then, he tapped me on my shoulder
and told he’d pay for my stuff with his.
The bill came to $45 and change.
I was taken aback, because I was fully prepared to pay, just having
trouble pulling out my card.
After all
the shit we’ve been going through with Joey’s care and whatnot, I’ve been
having faith probs. I’m always trying to
be optimistic, hoping prayers are answered, but knowing they won’t…I am human,
and go by experience.
Then,
something like this happens.
Angels on
Earth…just when I thought the world was full of devils.
Be good to
each other.

What a wonderful act of kindness! It's nice to read about finding generosity in a world that often seems cold-hearted. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt was a breath of fresh air when it seems like everybody's been working against us lately. I hate feeling like that, but it's life and I'm not going to lie. He helped me renew my faith in true humanity. Thanks for reading, Cindy!
