Afternoon,
Fam…
So, what
defines a model, who’d walk NY’S famed Fashion Week? Age 18 to, say, 25-ish, 6’, rail thin?
How about 21
from Australia with Down’s Syndrome?
Get ready to
hear about more Madeline
Stuart.
Early this
week, I was messing around MSN News when I came across the above article. We watch Project
Runway, so we watch their segment of the event, but this is so much more.
We all have
dreams, but sadly the loftier dreams don’t make for whatever the reason may
be. It’s not that they can’t, it’s just
they don’t.
Madeline had
a dream, her mom wanted her daughter to have the chance for her daughter’s
dream to succeed for better or worse despite her disability, and she’s made it
happen with people, who’ve seen past said disability to her potential to make
her the first Down’s model to strut the famed catwalk.
We all want
someone to take notice of us, the real us.
It’s a matter of perseverance and time.
Never give
up, Guys.
Be good to
each other.
