Celebrating Horror Icons from Beyond the Grave.

Morning, Guys…

So, I meant to get this out yesterday, but I fell asleep before I finished it.  So, here it is.

These dapper looking gentlemen are three of Horror history’s most notable icons: Christopher Lee, Vincent Price, and Peter Cushing.

Let’s begin with Sir Christopher Lee, most known for his booming, menacing voice.  He starred in the original Wicker Man ’73, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and even Episodes II and III of the Star Wars saga.  His birthday’s May 27, 1922.

Next, Vincent Price, another distinctive voice, most noticeably remembered for his rap in Michael Jackson’s Thriller, as well as the original House on Haunted Hill and his last role in Edward Scissorhands.  Incidentally, Price never had aspirations to be a Horror actor, but turned out to be an icon.  His birthday’s May 27, 1911.

Last, but definitely not least is Peter Cushing.  Contemporarily, he’s known for playing Grand Moff Tarkin in the original Star Wars.  Before that, though, he co-starred with Lee in Horror of Dracula among others.  His birthday’s May 26, 1913.

Wherever they are roaming, here’s wishing a happy birthday.

Be good to each other.
