Hello. Every time I say “Hello” and nothing else, it
reminds me of Candle Jack from Freak-a-zoid, and it makes me laugh. But, you don’t know who that is, do you?
LOL
Anyway
(ahem) I’ve been thinking. I won’t go
into detail here, but last year was a really awful year for Jason and me. We thought it would never end-financial
issues, emotional junk, I mean, the whole year was pretty much a mess. I know everybody goes through tough times, so
I’m not trying to down-play anybody here, but we were in a bad way. I said with great confidence, “Baby (Jason),
2018 is gonna look up for us.”
I didn’t
know how right I was (or did I).
Our
big, positive change actually began in December. J’s parents paid off our house for us. Yes, you read that right. What a blessing! January we started this site. February just started, but we already
published our first poetry book.
I pray
a lot. Could that have helped? I think, yes.
Call it what you want, but thank you, all, for believing in us and
supporting us. As we watched The Greatest Showman, I said we need a
change; what we’re doing isn’t helping us.
Not tomorrow, but today. Now it’s time for change. Let’s start showing people who we are.
