Christmas from Two Feet Below Part 2.

So, we just got home from Penny, Ray, and Chris’.  It was a lot of fun!

After the guys found a board for us to get up the step, we copped a squat in their living room and got hors d'oeuvres, which was cheese crackers, pickled herring, Chex mix,

which I stayed away from after Joey said there were peanuts in them while chatted and Buddy, their 5-year-old lab, made friends with us and our grub…and, Penny, always the consummate host/cook, did her thing.  Of course, the hors d’oere table was a spread in itself.

When the food was ready, we gathered in their dining room for another spread of turkey, dressing, mash potatoes, fruit salad, reg. cranberry sauce, cranberry relish, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes with apples with red wine and water. 

For dessert, we had cherry pie and pineapple upside down cake. 

Then, we wallowed in our gluttony, which I’m still doing in bed.

By the way, have you seen a crip have to be gotten out of a chair with the jaws of life?
