I am shunned when I state my opinion-

even if it is one that you agreed with in private

I am shunned when I want my way, but

I am shunned when I am a doormat

I am shunned when I want to love you too much, but

I am shunned when I don’t want you around

Where is the middle?

When will I not be shunned for everything I do?

When will I not be shunned for being funny

For being smart

For being determined

For having needs?

When will I not be shunned for being myself?
