So, Lupe not only no called, no showed, but when Joey called the Odessa office, she quit. So, guess what, Joey’s really ass out, because they don’t have anyone to replace her, and honestly, DON’T sound like they’re in ANY hurry to do so. Ain’t that a bitch?!
The upside, Joey called Bob at the Midland office, which we thought she’d be waiting, but he called almost immediately back to tell her Katrina would come. She came, and they worked out for her to come tomorrow, which saves Joey from Maria. She’s sweet, but there’s the whole language thing that makes things hard.
Adding to the fun, the appliance mechanic was supposed to come to fix the washer, which he came after Joey was up, so that was good. We’re just set back $218 and change all for a broken door lock. Damn, Man! Anyways, it’s fixed.
Now, Bob just has to work out a long-term setup, hopefully, with people Joey knows, so she’s not as stressed. Joey talked to a friend, who offered assistance, so hopefully, she'll make good on that to lighten Joey's load.
Shit never ends. Oh well, at least we’re above ground.
Be good to each other.
