Morning,
Guys…
So, let’s
put a huge W in the books for the Thai Navy Seals that literally saved the
whole Thai soccer team and their coach from death’s clutches. Cliché, I know, but it’s freaking true. They were living on borrowed time and their
chances of everybody getting out were literally nothing…especially after Navy
Seal Sgt. Major Saman Gunan died getting oxygen to them. RIP.
What the
kids had going for them was youth. They
were 11-16, fit athletes, so they had that on their side. On the same note, they had youth going against
them in the way of experience and temperament in that they were not in control,
their younger minds were apt to panic…rightfully so…especially as the hours
turned into days and the days turned into weeks. Talk about resilience and adaptability.
We talk
about both here. This is a stellar
example of the two in a do or die situation…and, it paid off.
From what I
read, the next mission’s to get the rest of the Seals and a doc out of the
cave. Prayers go out to them.
Be good to
each other.
