So,
yesterday in my X Ambassadors blog, I mentioned about a new commercial
I adore. The item, a Subaru, is
irrelevant to me. The point is, when the
lady asks for directions to wherever she and her man’re going, a blind guy’s
the one to speak up. Thus, our adventure
begins.
This
commercial’s a breath of fresh air in a world that takes crips for
granted. It’s interesting, in the 21st
century, that that mentality still exists.
I can only
speak for myself as a wheelchair crip, but I imagine the blind get taken for
granted moreso, because they can’t “see,” and thereby, can’t, say, show
tourists around, instead, being the tourist in, say, their own town. Obviously, it doesn’t take eyes to see.
Be good to
each other.
