Morning, Fam…
So, today’s
Memorial Day here in The States, where we remember our fallen servicemen, who
gave their lives for our freedom. Apparently,
the holiday got started on July 4, 1864 when ladies decorated soldiers' graves in
Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, calling themselves the birthplace of Memorial Day. From 1868 to 1970, Memorial Day was on May 30th. President Nixon made it an official Federal holiday
in ’71, moving it to the last Monday in May.
From us to
you servicemen and women around the world, thank you.
Be good to
each other.
