“I don’t see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind.”
So, it’s no surprise for those us that’ve been around for, say, the last 23 years of so that R. Kelly’s had issues having LEGAL sex starting back with an underage Aaliyah, who was no angel herself, but since she’s dead and can’t defend herself, we’ll leave that alone. He was having issues then that threatened his career.
Here we are 23 years later, and the dude’s STILL having issues with different girls.
If memory serves me right, he lost business then. I read yesterday that Spotify was pulling his catalogue, because it’s bad business to be in bed with an artist with a history of sex abuse and pedo leanings.
Of course, Kelly’s calling censorship on Spotify, so obviously they’ve got a pretty good chunk of the internet royalty play market to piss him off to come out of the shadows on TMZ, right? OR, might we just be beefing up our damage control game?
I think I’m hearin’: ”I don’t think I can fly./I think my career might actually die./I think about it every night and day/I'm screwed, I think I need to fly away…”
Be good to each other.
UPDATE: You can still hear his catalogue, but Spotify WON'T be HIGHLIGHTING his material...which seems a little riding the fence-ish, IMO.
