So, after
yesterday, I woke up kind of bummed. I
said my morning prayer and started my day. I checked to see if there was anything
interesting in the news, then, FB and Twitter.
On my Twitter feed, I found this nugget:
“It's about
searching for the positive things day by day, not dwelling on the negatives.”
OK, so, we
didn’t sell anything, but we got seen by everybody that was on the buses since
we had to transfer once as well as everybody at the Rehab Center. While we were there, we got a contact card,
and reconnected with Elinora. We got out
there and made ourselves known.
I love
exploring with Joey. There’s nobody else
I’d rather be lost with. One time, we lost
each other on the cruise,
and it scared the hell out of us. We
weren’t lost this time, we were trying not to have to cross major roads until
we had to. If our batteries are good, we
can get from one side of town to our place in an hour and a half. Another plus was Mom
giving us a ride home.
Also, today,
Mom found out who I really needed to talk to at the Rehab Center, so I need to
call up there to set up an appointment with her, which I believe I know,
instead of the lady the receptionist gave me the card. We’ll see where this goes.
Last, but
certainly not least, we got a couple comments today from “Support System,” so
we know it impacted you guys. Thanks.
Bottom line:
everybody has things that didn’t go as they’d hoped, but look for the silver
linings, and you’ll find the strength to keep on.
Be good to
each other.
