So, I saw
this on my Twitter feed this morning:
“I'm a
strong believer that no matter your background you are still able to rise up
and become the best.”
Joey and I
always hear people’s excuses for what’s holding them back whether it be money,
time, whatever. It all boils down to:
that’s the way it’s always been, that’s the way it’ll always be…in other words,
whatever their past or those around them have done or the lack there of in
their past, that’s what’s dictated their present, and therefore, their future
no matter their wishes. The future’s
scary, stepping outside the box’s scary.
We try to
lead by example in that, if people that come through or see us doing because
that’s what we want to do with our lives regardless of limitations, maybe, they
can see they can do whatever. If they
don’t want to put in the work, that’s on them.
We preach and show anything’s possible whether we’re scared, and, yeah,
there’re plenty of times we’re uncertain about how we’re going to pull off
whatever, or not.
If you have
a dream, rise above your past and your present…you can.
Be good to
each other.
