A Lesson Learned.

Morning, Fam…

So, yesterday was “interesting” to say the least.

Let me set the stage.

My provider normally comes through to help get up in the morning.  Sometimes, they’re short at the old folks home she also works at, so she’ll swing by when her shift’s over in the afternoon...no prob.  Not yesterday.  Joey’d actually asked me if I wanted her provider to help me, but thinking mine’d be by, I declined.

Her girl leaves, mine never shows.  Then, around 2:30 she asks me if I can find someone to help me, because she won’t be able to come through.  Crap, Joey’s girl left an hour ago, so I text a friend, but it turns out, she can’t.  By this time, Mom came through to help me cath.  We finish, she sets me up with a Coke, and leaves.  I’m not too worried, because my girl’ll be through later to help me get ready for bed.  Of course, I’m already in bed, but I still need to cath and such.

Joey’s other girl came through, and we had dinner, and Joey got ready for bed.  Then, her girl left, locking us in.  I had the garage door opener, so I could let my girl in.  10, 11, midnight came, and no provider.  Yeah, I had to take a leak, but, surprisingly, NOT as bad as I thought I should.  Anyhoo, I couldn’t think of anybody to bug to ask to come through.

Fast forward to this morning, Joey’s morning girl comes through, gets Joey talking to john, and throws some Veet on her legs.  Then, she caths me.  Needless to say, I ALMOST filled the urinal.  Then, I started texting a friend to see if she could come through today when my main provider texted to say she felt sick, she’d intended to come through last night, but when she woke up, it was 12:30 AM.  Man.

Moral of the story:  ASK QUESTIONS, so everybody’s on the same page, AND LISTEN to your psychic wife when she “randomly” asks if you need help.

Be good to each other.
