From Home Theater Review. |
So, Netflix’s
canceled another popular Marvel property, Daredevil,
which released its 3rd season a month or so ago. Word has it that Jessica Jones and Punisher’ll
be next after their coming seasons, which’re already in the can film-wise, drop. With Marvel being absorbed by Disney and
Disney’s streaming network, Disney+ coming out next year, I believe, Disney’s
not renewing their licenses with Netflix.
What’s more,
specific channels such as AMC, Showtime, and HBO among others like the big 3,
ABC, NBC, and CBS’ve their own streaming network of sorts boasting exclusive
material. It’ll be a matter of time
before they pull their programs for their own brand. Netflix’ll be relegated to their original material,
which, even according to Netflix’s hit and miss by their rate of cancellations.
Like
Blockbuster, the video rental store, we might be seeing the death throws of
Netflix.
Be good to
each other.
