Afternoon,
Fam…
So, I finished
the second piece for my new client, Vi, this weekend, and she should be picking
it up to take it to its new forever-home.
It was an
interesting piece, because she wanted me to depict my own idea of love.
I took a 30”x40”
canvas and threw down some acrylic paint.
I painted the four hearts in the four corners with words that are
significant to love for me with words.
Yes, there’s a green heart, which green represents jealousy, which I
think’s such a thing as healthy jealousy…if there’s trust in a
relationship. Let’s face it, when we’re
in a relationship, we don’t go blind. At
the end of the day, you have to know who you’re going to bed with…and, your
other has to trust he/she knows you’re coming home to bed with he/she. The fire and ice rose brings it all together:
A. because I love fire and ice roses, and B. fire and ice’re polar
opposites. Fire, passion. Ice, disagreements.
I broke a
painting rule, I think, putting white paint on a white canvas; however, the word’s
“Pure”. It shows in person.
Anyways, I’m
proud of it.
Be good to
each other.
