Fam…
So, what’s
the most expensive and most heart-felt gift you can give anyone?
Your time.
It’s the
most expensive thing, because it’s a part of your life you could be doing
anything else…and, you can’t get it back. It’s the most heart-felt, because you’re
choosing to spend and HOPEFULLY give your undivided attention to.
Being that
it’s so expensive, it’s in your best interest to wholeheartedly invest in the
person you give said time to. On the
same note, it’s psychology 101, when you give someone your undivided attention,
you’re strengthening them physically and mentally. Whether you know it or not, you’re doing a
good deed…something that’s lacking nowadays without compensation of some
kind. Also…you might learn something…there’s
your compensation. Oh, and that physical
and mental strengthening’s a two-way street.
A lot of
times, people’re too busy thinking how
long’s this going to take, what can I get out of so and so when they
actually MISSED the party…ironic, isn’t it.
Again, I’m
not preaching, I’m speaking from experience.
You’ve heard that saying that we’re not promised tomorrow and say what
you got to say today, because when you’re or they’re dead, it’s too late? Is that a regret you want to YOUR grave? I didn’t think so.
