So, I’ve known about Ashley’s class’s fieldtrip to her Arachnid course for a week or so, to which, I’ve posted on Nextdoor, a neighborhood FB-like site, my plight, not just for today and tomorrow, both morning and evening, but for every Wednesday and Friday with an everyday cath. It’s not many hours, but it could help someone needing hours to make ends meet. It also helps me get up to do my day.
Now, the bitch of that is we live in West Texas, where the oil currently is. I say currently, because said oil comes and goes. When the oil’s good, everybody and God flocks to the fields. Kids even leave school to make the cashflow. As soon as the oil’s gone people’re on the streets looking for handouts. It’s that simple.
When the oil’s good, nobody wants to work for under X amount of money, and of course, agencies don’t want to pony up the dough to make it worth their time…never mind crips need help, like I believe I’ve said before. So, we suffer.
Today, it’s blogging, Netflix, and hopefully, making contacts.
A special thanks to Mom and Joey.
Thanks for listening, Guys.
Be good to each other.
