Good, Better, Best.

So, we’ve all heard the saying, “Good things come to those who wait,” right?

Check this:

“Good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who are patient, and the best things come to those who don't give up.”

Serious, huh?  I found that floating around my feed today.

Let’s talk about this for a bit, shall we?

Sometimes you just do stuff, because you know it’s gotta be done.  It’s called phoning it in or half-assing, even bullshitting.  There’s no heart behind it, so it’s really crap.  You know, anybody that knows you knows it, MAYBE, even strangers’ll know.  Point being, if you don’t feel it in your gut, you probably won’t be getting you thought you deserved.

Yo, waiting’s a bitch, I know.  But, here’s our old saying…just jacked up a notch.  We all want those results, like, yesterday.  That’s the thing, we’ve gotta slow down.  When our dues are paid, the bank or whatever’ll explode…more than we expected.

You know in nightmares, the hall that never ends?  Yeah, you get a point you’re like, “Screw it, just let whatever get me.”  Or, you see people banking on the EXACT same thing you’re doing…but, you ain’t made a damn thing.  It’s easy to pull the plug, pull the sheet, and pronounce it.  Then, you’re left woulda, coulda, shoulda.  Squash that, find what got you doing whatever, and hold on to it.  There’ll always be trolls…erase them from your world…this YOUR dream, not theirs.
