The Hypocrisy of Home Health.

So, I’m going to step on toes here, so I’m just going to get into it.

Bottom line, Lupe’s coming back not because she loves and cares for Joey, but because she got what she wanted from the company…end of story.  I know it, Joey knows it.  We practically expected it.

All’s well that ends well, J, right?

Let me wipe the sugar off your world here.

Yeah, has help again on Wednesdays and Sundays and when Adriana quits, but Lupe blew her to trust to shit…AND, Joey HAS TO KEEP HER, OR STATE’LL TAKE HER HOURS AWAY!  It’s a catch-22.  Either way, the bottom can drop from under Joey WHENEVER.  Seems one-sided in favor of the opposing team when we’re SUPPOSED to be on the same team.

Now, I’m not talking about everybody, but most, because we constantly hear it.  Yeah, HIPPA and professionalism goes to shit with home health.  People are really transparent, or they think we’re too stupid to know what they’re saying.

Yeah, home health’s a real job.  Providers sweat their asses off here sometimes.  HOWEVER, said providers can pick and choose their clients AND hours.  We’ve actually heard people call the office while they’re here to move so and so to here and she doesn’t want so and so.  Joey’s had both offices call her to ask her to change her schedule to fit someone else’s for whatever the reason.

I worked at a doctor’s office for 18 years.  I was given the time to be there.  I didn’t get the choice to say yay or nay on hours and time.  I either did it or I didn’t.  I either had a job or I didn’t.

It’s called health CARE!  You’re supposed to CARE!  And, not when it’s convenient for you to CARE!

NEWSFLASH: Sometimes you got to shit you don’t want…that’s why it’s called a JOB!

Be good to each other.
