So, check out this video I found on TMZ this morning.
This, boys and girls, is the epitome of PERCEIVED entitlement. This jackass's on crutches and CLAIMS he can't walk, but he's standing there just fine while bitching at the employee about the chair deserves while HOLDING UP EVERYBODY ELSE, WHICH HE'S BITCHING ABOUT THAT TOO! AND, when he's offered the chair, HE STILL WON'T SHUT THE FUCK UP! In this blog, I asked why people insisted on perpetuating peoples' perceptions. This's a stellar example of that.
As crips, Joey and I work hard to break peoples' perceptions of us, and especially married crips living in our own home unattended. Of course, we know crips who just can't, and have to live in a home, and that's fine. But, in the same blog, I talked about crips feeling entitled to do whatever, because they're crips and don't think there'll be any repercussions, and that just ain't true. Sure, they might get away with pulling stupid shit for awhile, but THERE WILL be that time someone won't put up with whatever.
Furthermore, in this rant, I said we DIDN'T CHOOSE to be in wheelchairs, it was just the hand we were dealt, so we deal. So, this dumbass just not wanting to go on his crutches through the airport is shit. Sorry, not sorry you got hurt so bad your a half ass, wannabe crip.
