DCEU or MCU: Why Settle for Milk and Cookies When You Can Drink With the Adults?

So, last night, I started watching Creature Commandos on Max.  It's James Gunn's latest offering, to go with Batman: The Killing JokeJustice League DarkBatman: Gotham by GaslightSuicide Squad: Hell to PayJustice League Dark: Apokolips War, and Batman: Soul of the Dragon (that's just SOME of the series) in his new DCEU, and even animated, it delivers on what I've always thought comic movies SHOULD be since seeing Wesley Snipes own Blade.  Yes, I know he belongs to technically belongs to the MCU, but it had balls as did Netflix's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Punisher.  Don't get me wrong, I love the X-Men franchise.  They were PG-13, but there was something darker to them.  Then, Disney brought the MCU to the 21st as we know it.

Punisher, Daredevil, and Fisk

Now, I've always loved the MCU for its connectivity, but until this year's Deadpool and Wolverine and we did get to see Agatha's ass in the first episode of Agatha All Along, it was what I call milk and cookies.  Yeah, they're fun for a one-off, but because of the previously mentioned movies and series, I know it could be so much more.

Morbius had possibilities, but of course, milk and cookies.  Twilight had more balls than Morbius.  When AND IF the Blade reboot gets off the ground, I'm not holding my breath.  I'm REALLY hoping Daredevil Born Again doesn't castrated.  If we get the Fisk we saw at the end of Echo, I have hope.

One thing the MCU's gotten right was having Alaqua Cox was born deaf and is also an amputee with a prosthetic leg star in Echo while Lauren Ridloff, who's also deaf, was in Eternals.  Still, we're having milk and cookies with maybe a shot as a chaser in Echo.
