So, we crips
sometimes get to get helper dogs to help us do just about anything. Some dogs are trained to be companion dogs for
people with panic attacks and epilepsy.
Police’ve
been had the K-9 unit as part of the force since the 14th century. A partner and his dog are literally together
from puppyhood 24/7. After the dog retires,
the cop continues caring for him/her.
That’s why
this is so heartbreaking to watch:
Of course,
the ideal scenario’s for both to come home at shift’s end. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case
like what happened Christmas Eve in FL.
What’s sad
is, like the officer knows there might be a chance he might not be coming home,
the K-9 doesn’t…he just knows he’s doing his job.
Talk about
man’s best friend.
