Labor Day from Two Feet Below.

So, today’s Labor Day.  According to Wikipedia, Labor Day began in the late 19th century, as the trade union and labor movements grew, differentiating groups of trade unionists chose a variety of days on which to celebrate labor. In the US, a September holiday called Labor Day was first proposed in the early 1880s. Alternate stories of the event's origination exist, but it’s believed P. J. McGuire, the VP of the American Federation of Labor, is frequently credited as the father of Labor Day.

We went to the Folks’ yesterday, so today, Joey and I’m hanging at the pad watching the marathons (AXS Top 10 we’ve been Tivoing and Project Runway) on the tube with turkey burgers tonight.

Guys, have a safe Labor Day whatever you do.

Be good to each other.
