So, Guys,
tonight’s the long awaited premiere of the docuseries, Deaf Out Loud from the makers of Born
This Way and produced by Mrs. Marlee Matlin (Children of a Lesser God, Speechless,
The Magicians) in the vein of Raising
Tourettes, another new docuseries that premiered this season.
A&E has
this to say about Deaf Out Loud:
Executive
produced by Academy® Award-winner Marlee Matlin, this new documentary special
follows three predominantly deaf families as they raise their children in a
hearing world. With many differing opinions about how deaf children should be
raised swirling in the social consciousness, these families work to forge their
own paths forward and combat the daily social stigmas many deaf people face.
I’ve raised
questions here about being deaf, so I’m interested to watch the show. Guys, the show comes on 7c, so tune in
accordingly. I hope you guys enjoy it,
and feel free to chime in with what you thought. I’ll drop our thoughts either later tonight
