Make Them Eat Their Words...With Wasabi.

Afternoon, Guys…

So, I saw this on my Twitter feed:

“Sometimes you do need those who will discourage you and say "you can't" so you can strive for "I can".”

Now, we hear this all the time.  People try to be slick, not saying the exact words, but we know what they’re getting.  It’s our legs that don’t work, our brains work fine.  Of course, there are the ones who you THINK are on your side, but you find out otherwise.  That can be a blow to the ego, and make for a strained relationship, if it doesn’t kill it outright.

Like we’ve said before, we wonder how naysayers’d make it if the shoe was on the other foot.  Would they rise to the task, or fold under their “friends,” “fam,” or strangers negativity.  It pushes us to think and prove to ourselves we can.  I’m not going to say there’s not a bit of egocentrism that likes rubbing said achievement in said naysayer’s face, but ultimately, they don’t matter…except they told us we can’t.

When someone says YOU can’t, they REALLY mean THEY couldn’t.

Be good to each other.
