Alleys and Byways.

So, in this morning’s post, I mentioned how the Dimeos got JJ to his award by getting him in the garbage ramp.  Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Yeah, some of you read about the gnarly front step at the Tattoo Shop, but we made it work.  Anybody who saw last night’s episode, that’s pretty close to the ride to get in the Shop in those days.  The Guys were good to us, so we went.

Another example of getting where we wanted to go despite EVERYTHING was in our ’04 NY trip.  The first night we were there, we walked to Times Square.  Yeah, I told you we went to TGIFridays.  What I didn’t tell you was HOW we got in.

Story time:

We went in the front to find there were steps to the dining area, so the staff took us through the back to their personnel/loading elevator.  You know how they say they don’t have room to build out in NY, so they build up, it’s so true.  This elevator can carry a cart and its driver.  This is TRULY the elevator from Horror movies…can anyone say CLAUSTOPHOBIA!  FORGET TWO wheelchairs, so Mom, Dad, and I went up first and proceeded to the dining area with the idea that Kat, my sister, and Joey’d get the next ride up and we’d meet.  Mom, Dad, and I get there, and we wait and we wait and we wait for Kat and Joey.  Hmmm, no Kat and Joey.

FINALLY, they show, and we ask them what happened.  APPARENTLY, the damn thing WAS POSSESSED (THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!) and took them DOWN to the KITCHEN first!

Poor Girls, I know Joey’s anxiety was through the roof.  Anyhoo, we met up, had a great meal and a great time in The Big Apple, and can’t wait for the chance to go again.

I’m the King of Alleyways and Byways, I have a path to get ANYWHERE I want in town, but THAT was pushing it EVEN FOR ME!

Be good to each other.
