So, Joey’s Avon party was a success in our eyes. She had a handful of visitors: Mom, Ashley, Adriana and her little boy Alex, and Cindy with her granddaughters, Mia and Kara. Thank you, guys, for coming, we truly love and appreciate you.
Hollywood
and Chewy made friends with all the kids…even Alex, who was afraid of him at
first. The Boys ate up the attention
like we ignore them all the time.
Joey’s cheesy
BBQ bean dip went over well even though the chef couldn’t try her own dish,
because of her Lenten promise not to eat cheese. It was delish, but we’re gonna be eating on
it for a bit. She’d gotten some black
bean corn chips to go with the dip, which married well. She also had some white chocolate pretzels,
peanut pretzels and peanut M&Ms.
Everybody
either ordered here or took home books to look through to send orders, so that
was encouraging, and Joey gained three new customers, maybe 4-5 if the girls
can persuade their mom to buy, and Cindy said her husband likes a lotion, which
is very cool for Joey to get her first male customer. My sister, Kat, even called, and said she’d
look even though she’s feeling sickly.
Sorry, Kiddo, love you!
All in all,
I give her mad props for putting the whole thing together. Thanks, Mom, for lending us the table.
Be good to
each other.
